Beauty begins from within. Every woman can create and control her environment through expressing her beauty outwardly. Cherie Jolai allows women to tap into her beauty in a creative way by consulting on “power looks” and makeup application for special events.
TrYoga was created to broaden the scope of fitness alternatives for middle to high school students within the Charter schools of the Los Angeles County District. There are currently 182 charters that are open, or projected to open for the 2010-2011 school year. The practice of yoga offers strengthening, stretching, balancing exercises, in addition to increasing circulation to internal organs and glands, quieting the nervous system, and improving concentration. This ancient system of self-care brings vitality, health, deep relaxation, and peace of mind, which is not traditionally offered in public school systems.
Integrating yoga into Charter schools creates a bridge of fitness and healthy children, without the focus of athleticism. TrYoga encompasses professional instructors, progressive teaching methods, as well as a non-competitive and encouraging atmosphere. It understands that a fit child is a confident child, which is key to a successful academic and social school year.
