1. Have clear aims; educational or emotional outcomes?

2. Get help early. Consult those with the AV material, and designers and AV experts early to have truly integrated exhibition.

3. Use developed programs and hardware if possible. If not allow time for R+D.

4. Consider life of equipment and cost of projector bulbs etc.

5. Have accessible back-up for trouble shooting. Will the exhibition die if the AV fails due to storms etc?

6. Do you want an exhibition without objects? Do the objects complement the AV?
