After identifying the customers needs, I then advise them on the most appropriate product. Other duties include stock control and the building/repairing/servicing of bikes. Throughout my time at Halfords, I have visited schools to teach them the basics of cycle repair and maintenance. Finally, I am a trained vehicle fitter and have also taken part in professional development training.

I spent a week learning and observing how electricity is distributed across the North of England. This also included the repair and renovation of stations and lines, fault checking and the operation of switchboards.

Disaster Toys

Created to be sent out to areas following natural disasters, the box contains injection moulded ABS sheets. By pressing out the components and putting together, toys are created which allow children to create friendship and sollidarity.

Northumbrian WaterTo create a solution to reduce the amount of fat and grease being poured into the sewers.

75% all blockagescaused by fat & grease

3000 homes annually flood because of these blockages

£15 million spent on repairs

Created as a promotional item, the Fat 2 Feed bird feeding kit would satisfy the critera of reducing the amount of fat and grease going down the drain, whilst also feeding local birdlife.

ClockworkInspired by World War 2 Aircraft gauges, the clocks time is split into Hours and Minutes. The clock is manufactured from Solid Oak and Acrylic.

CADTo create a Solidworks model and rendering of an existing product. The product I chose was the Maglite torch.

BenchTo create a handmade contemporary bench. I chose to use the 2 contrasting woods of Ash and Wenge, with Zebrano embelishments to create a striking piece.
