Know What To SayIt only takes a moment for a prospect to decide

whether or not they want to listen to you.

With just a few seconds to convince them, what do you say?

Approaching Locals● They’ve noticed the sign on their

neighbor's yard. ● Some might have begun to wonder what

kind of a price their home would fetch. ● Approach now and get your name in their

minds as someone who can sell their home.

Speak up!Even though they may have seen your name, they may not immediately be interested in talking to you. Get their attention quickly.

What To Say● Your name, and the name of your

company● You’ve just listed a house nearby, and

already have interest from buyers● Ask if they have considered selling their

home● Your expertise and services, and how to

contact you

Other OptionsHoping to sell the currently listed property to one of the other families in the neighborhood? ● Introduce yourself and your company● Have they noticed property was on the

market?● Mention that the home buyer is often

friend or family of someone in the neighborhood

● Do they know anyone looking to buy or sell in the near future?

After the SaleOnce the property sells, continue reaching

out ● Mention that local property sold● Buyers still want to move to the

neighborhood● Ask if they have neighbors who want to

sell

spot● If not, set a date and time to preview the
