BEN VEREENA Salute to the Armed Forces and Their FamiliesThe UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI) will open December 8, 2008

and will be one of the most innovative psychiatric treatment facilities

in the nation. The 100,000 square foot, �ve-story facility will include

outpatient facilities and 40 inpatient beds that will open in February

2009. The institute will integrate patient care, education, research and

community outreach services, and will be one of only nine such

psychiatry facilities in the nation.
