AnupdateonBisleydates,orrathertheNRAhavecancelledtheonewehadbookedforSunday12thJulyasthey’verememberedtheImperialMeetingisthenandtheyhaveaHistoricArmsmeetingonShortSiberiathewholeweekend.I’lltrytorebookitassoonaspossiblebutdatesseemveryhardtogetforsomereasonatBisleythisyear,I’vebeenstrugglingtofinddatesforthelongrangecompetitiontoo.

Januaryalsosawtheclub’s67thAnnualGeneralMeetingandprizegiving.Afteraquickcommitteemeeting tosignoff theminutesof thepreviousmeeting inpreparation for thenewcommittee

takingover,theAGMgotunderway.AftermyreportandtheCaptainsreportsandPrizeGivingthe“new”committeewaselectedunanimously,beingexactlythesameastheoldcommitteewiththeexceptionthatRichardDearloveandRickKnightdidnotstandforpositionsthisyear.I’dliketotakethisopportunitytothankRichardforallheandhisfamilyhavedonefortheclubovertheyears.PriortomovingtoNorfolkRichardwastheclubsecretary,butit’sabitfartotraveljustforacommitteemeeting.
