Assessor groups

Each assessor:

individually scores at 3-5 applications using the HESL rubric

comes together with their group for discussion/recommendation.

Groups make final recommendations to board-at-large

Coaching visits offered before or after application scoring

Principal knowledge and support – Does he or she understand what you are applying for?

Co-assess HESL rubric together

Ensure you know all the school’s goals and have discussed which ones you will align to in the growth plan

Can a teacher and/or library manager go over HESL rubric?
