INEA in short
• 1 January 2014 – INEA replaced TEN-T EA (the Trans-European Transport Network Executive Agency) with an extended mandate
• Budget to be managed 2014-2020: 34.1 billion euros
• Rapid expansion from 100 staff in TEN-T EA to about 300 staff in INEA managing around 2000+ projects by 2020
• Solid experience in programme implementation and project management and excellent record of past performance

• Major cross-border projects and projects addressing main bottlenecks on the 9 TEN-T multimodal Corridors
• Pre-identified projects on the core network as well as other projects on the core and comprehensive network

High level technical expertisein transport infrastructure projects
• Multi-disciplinary teams of project managers with wide-ranging experience covering all modes of transport as well as horizontal transport priorities like ITS, SESAR, ERTMS or Motorways of the Sea.
• Special focus on innovation with support to pilot actions implementing transport policy priorities (electric vehicles, LNG for shipping, etc.)
• Deep practical understanding of complex cross-border transport infrastructure projects and multi-beneficiary projects at European level
