leatherback sea turtle shell is flexible and covered in thin layer of lathery skin. After a egg from a female the mother may not return to land during its 80-year life time. Also after a egg hatch. Also they can weigh up to 500-2,000 pounds. Some leatherback sea turtle have spots. They are circumglobal species. the male alldut leatherback is larger then its own kind. They also get there name from there shell.
How it is endangeredLeather back sea turtle are endangered by
throwing trash in the ocoan. Also they are getting poached for eggs. They can swalwo,chaks and other population is trash.
