Evaluation question 3:

What kind of media institution might distribute your product and why?

• I think Bauer Media (parent company to Q, Kerrang! And MOJO) would distribute my product. This is because I have based my final product around rock culture, and I took inspiration (regarding fonts, layout and content, as well as color scheme) from these magazines, especially MOJO.

• Bauer Media is a massive institution that specializes not only in music magazines, but also in magazines such as Women’s weekly, TV Choice and a number of games and puzzles magazines. However, the music magazines that Bauer Media owns are rock-oriented, and are very well regarded within the music scene.

• I feel that a media institution like the Bauer family would be a great distributor because they reach a wide range of countries, including the United Kingdom, United States of America, Australia, Germany and Mexico, and I think that a coverage and distribution of this scale would help promote and sell the magazine more than if it was distributed by any other media institution.
