• AUTUMN 2009:
The 3 provincial executive boards establish the Common Office of the European Region
The 3 legislative assemblies decide to establish the EGTC
ON THE ROAD TOWARDS THE EGTC…
• DECEMBER 2009: Opening ceremony of the European Region`s Common Office
• OCTOBER 2010: Authorization request to the Italian government for the foundation of the EGTC
• APRIL 2011: Rome approves the Agreement and the Statute of the EGTC
• JUNE 2011: The 3 Presidents of the territories sign the founding act

• Actualization of the operative programs in the field of the ETC (European Territorial Cooperation)
• Promotion of the EGTC’s interests in the field of the ETC towards the national and European institutions
• Joins organizations, associations and networks who are consistent with the EGTC’s objectives
• Development of other ETC’s activities with or without European funding

The EGTC is currently carrying out:• Direct projects (annual budget: 450,000€)
• Planning of the internal processes
• Communication
• Theme based projects
• Coordination of the organizational work for the joint session of the Assembly and the Executive Board, scheduled for October 10th 2013
• Detailed planning of the Work Programme 2014• Preparations for European programmes and
projects 2014-2020
