Transcript of Description of mechanism

MECHANISM DESCRIPTION

• Description of a tool, machine, or other mechanical device—usually with moving parts—designed to perform a specific kind of work

• Examples: ballpoint pen, flush toilet, copy machine, press, radio, camera, etc.

D’THREE FUNDAMENTAL DIVISION S OF DESCRIPTION

ARE:

• Introduction

• Part by Part Description

• Conclusion

THE INTRODUCTION

• Before the Writer writes about the part of the thing he is reporting. he has to make an introduction by presenting the mechanism and the organization of the description

INTRO ELEMENTS

• Initial Presentation of the mechanism

1.What it is?

2.What its purpose is?

3.What it looks like?

• Organization of the Description

1.Dividing the mechanism into parts

2.Division is essential part of detailed description

PART BY PART DESCRIPTION

• After proper introduction that's the time the writer could describe the parts of the mechanism and thier purposes appearance and function. this serves as for the other parts and subparts

ASPECTS OF MECHANISM

• Shape

• Size

• Relationship to other parts

• Methods of attachment

• Finish

CONCLUSION

•Lastly, let the reader know how the mechanism works or how it is used as sort of conclusion.

THE OUTLINE BELOW INDICATES IN A GENERAL WAY THE ORGANIZATION OF THE

DESCRIPTION OF MECHANISM

• Drill is a cutting tool that is used for making round holes in wood, metal, rock, or other hard material. The most common shape of a drill is in the shape of a pistol gun but there are some drills that come in different shape. The earth drilling augers and drilling rigs, for example, is in the shape of a huge drill bit. Drills are used in the household for it only leaves clean round markings on the wall instead of making a hole when you use a nail and a hammer. Drills are also used in woodworking, metalworking and construction.

• Torque Settings

The Black and Decker EPC148BK has been developed with 24 Torque settings and a direct drill mode setting allowing the drill to be used for a massive range of applications. Select the correct torque setting from the 24 available and the screw stops turning when it is flush with the surface. There is also a direct drill mode which is ideal for drilling into a variety of materials ranging from wood, metal, to masonry and plastic.

• Spring Loaded Battery Pack

The Black and Decker 14.4V cordless hammer drill is fitted with a Spring Loaded Battery Pack. Just click the release button and the spring loaded battery pack pops out with minimal effort.

• Two Batteries

Included in the kit are two 14.4V NiCd batteries to provide the ultimate runtime when completing those medium DIY construction tasks. When the first battery has run down easily change to the second battery using the Spring Loaded Battery Pack and charge the first battery whilst you continue your DIY tasks.

• Keyless Chuck

Fitted with a 10mm twin sleeve keyless chuck allows screwdriver bits or drill bits to be changed very quick and easily. Just slot the drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck, hold one sleeve with one hand and tighten the second sleeve with the other hand.

• Easy to handle• When it comes to choosing a cordless drill, finding a model that

feels comfortable in use is important. The Black and Decker EPC148K with its rubber over mould handle has been designed to perform even the most difficult of tasks with ease. The two powerful 14.4V NiCD batteries help to provide the ultimate runtime allowing you to complete most DIY tasks.

• The Black and Decker EPC148K is fitted with forward and reverse that is located on the side of the unit making it very simple to switch direction between applications.

• With a 10mm keyless chuck, screwdriver and drill bits can be changed in seconds. Supplied with useful onboard storage means your screwdriver bit is easily available and will not be lost when the drill is in storage.

• Drill without a drill bit is useless so you have to attach it first into the drill. Holding a drill is like holding a gun. When you are ready to go, you have it shoot your target with the use of the trigger. These simple steps explain how a drill works.
