Visual Publicity (DAVP)
y To perform the functions of a multi-mediaadvertising agency for the Central Government.
y To act as service agency for Central Governmentministries/departments to meet their publicityneeds including production of media inputs as
well as dissemination of messages/information.
y To help Central Government departments informulating communication strategies/mediaplans and help implement them at the grass-rootlevel by providing multi-media support.

The Division coversphotographically almost all major events of National importanceand also supplies on payment, Black & White and Colour printsto Non-Publicity Organizations and General Public under the
Division's Pricing Scheme.
y With the establishment ofNews Photo Network", the Division ispresently covering assignments in digital format and convertingall the conventional images in the digital format and distributes
photographs at the shortest possible time all over the country forpublishing Government Policies and Programmes.
