When?W
e have just continued the measurements made by the previous 4th class.
Infact the measurments started in September 2011, we have replaced our
school mates since September 2012.
Data assessment
We compared AOT data with:
• Temperature (°C);
• Pressure (mbar);
• Relative Humidity (%);
The results are shown in the following graphs..

New comparisons
This time we also tried to compare AOT with wind speed and satellite data. We tried to take measurements at same time of satellite overpassing (Aqua)

It should be noticed that Satellite measures AOT at 550 nm while we measure it at 505 nm.

CONCLUSIONSAOT-P: no clear relation.
AOT-T: no clear relation.
AOT-% H: graphs evidence the same behaviour(infact aerosols are also made of liquid droplets)
AOT-wind speed: high wind speed results in low AOT and viceversa
ANOMALIES: very high values of AOT have been measured on 18th and
19th october. A possible reason is a fire in Venice province, at a distance of
about 100 Km from our site.
