Analysis of mechanical properties and performance of homogeneous mixture of two or more

material (Lead, Tin, Silica).

Role : Project leader

Scope of the project: Chemical analysis to find the actual composition of composite. Characteristic

study can be extended to determine other mechanical properties such as strength ,shear strength,

thermal and electrical conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient. The effect of size of 

reinforcement on the Characteristic can be studied. The effect of increase in proportion of 

reinforcement can be studied. Effect of other reinforcement material can be studied. Other heat

treatment processes like normalizing, hardening, tempering etc. can be employed and their effect can

 be studied. Cold working can be done and its effect studied.
