Village Bicycle Project are Re~Cycle’s partners in Ghana

The bikes were taken to a fishing community called Ativai, in Ghana’s Volta Region on the border with Togo

Koku is a sugar cane farmer, his farm is quite far from his house. With his new bicycle he will be able to visit the land everyday.

Koku Adzika Age 26 (so he says !)

You lives in Atiavi, he attends the local primary school. He will use the bike to reach school (on time!) + run errands to Abor – the local town further inland.

Victor live in Apoueno, he’s been a sugar cane farmer all his life. His new bike will be used for his daily run to the farm, previously he would have walked.
