In October 2019 Simon & Lisa Thomas, better known as “2 Ride The World”, will be returning to their favourite continent, Africa, but this time they are inviting you to join them on this amazing adventure.

The tour leaders will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel where you can spend the day relaxing or exploring the waterfront. Later in the afternoon, the tour leaders will hand over the bikes before hosting a group briefing with more in-depth information about the tour. After the briefing we will enjoy our first dinner together at a wonderful local restaurant.

Simon and Lisa Thomas of 2Ride the World have teamed up with Ayres Adventures to design a private African tour especially for their friends and followers. Simon and Lisa wanted a tour that would start in arguably the most beautiful city in the world – Cape Town – and end at one of the most famous natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls. In between they wanted an authentic sampling of the African safari experience and, of course, fabulous riding. Result: Cape Town to Victoria Falls.

In addition to the iconic start and end locations, this 16-day Club Class tour features invigorating mountain passes, sweeping coastal highways, and roads that lead through wine country, fertile valleys and along rural landscapes dotted with traditional African villages. To complete the African experience, a full day on safari in Kruger NP and a wildlife cruise on the Chobe River are included. The tour ends with a visit to one of the seven wonders of the world, the impressive Victoria Falls known also as “smoke that thunders”.

Cape Town is a great place to spend a couple of extra days prior to the start of the tour. If you decide to arrive early, some of the activities you might enjoy include walking up Table Mountain, taking a city tour, touring Robben Island or just enjoying the numerous cafes, restaurants and shopping diversions that the waterfront has to offer.
