Leadership is ultimately about making good decisions in complex
situations where there is great uncertainty. Yet leaders rarely receive
formal education about how to make effective decisions and rarely
step back to analyze the fundamental thought processes used to
make important decisions. In this highly-interactive session you will
learn the traps that can systematically encumber decision-making,
how to identify when these traps are present, and how to develop
practical solutions to avoid or neutralize them. The session closes
with lessons on how to harness the power of the unconscious mind
to make better decisions.

Liderazgo Basado en Valores
Values Based Leadership
The combination of increasing globalization and unprecedented
media penetration means doing business in countries with radically
different values under increasingly intense scrutiny. Central themes
include the tension between short-term and long-term impact of
actions and decisions, and the “tough choices” that involve the
greatest conflict between core values. This session will provide
participants with tools and frameworks that will let them respond
to this emerging landscape and better leverage the power of values
to create value for stakeholders inside the firm and out.

One of the most important decisions a leader makes is how to
deploy capital to execute strategy. We build on what you learned in
the CEOs Management Program and move from the fundamentals
of valuation to applying your knowledge to a product roll out in a
multi-divisional firm. This will allow you to deepen your knowledge
of valuation to a practical application. This session will focus on
constructing cash flow forecasts for an actual project, understanding
and applying the implications of economic, business, and strategic
assumptions on the forecasted cash flows, and understanding the
interaction of these different assumptions.

P y L = Filantropía y Legado P & L = Philanthropy & Legacy
In a corporate setting, P&L has a defined meaning – Profit & Loss.
In the context of civic leadership, P&L has an equally compelling
definition – Philanthropy & Legacy. More and more, successful
global leaders are exploring ways they can make an impact on
the communities in which they live and work and feel compelled
to leave a legacy that improves life for future generations. This
interactive session will address critical issues and help participants
better understand how they can determine the impact that their
contributions have on society.

Capital Social: La Nueva Ciencia de la Redes
Social Capital: The New Science of Networks
Thriving leaders are distinguished by a powerful and invisible
network of relationships by which diverse expertise and knowledge
is mobilized and strategic direction is set. Yet many leaders
unconsciously build weak networks. The new science of leadership
addresses how changes in the nature of information, expertise,
and power have put a new premium on certain kinds of personal
networks and how the scientifically proven characteristics of a
powerful network can advance your leadership talent, collaborative
success, and client development initiatives.
