CV = EV - AC

SV = EV - PV

CPI = EV / AC

SPI = EV / PV

EAC = BAC / CPI

When memorizing the

formulas I have found

it best to look for

patterns. When I see

the correct pattern I

know the formula is

correct.

AC = ACWP

PV = BCWS

EV = BCWP

First is to see the

pattern of 2

subtractions, 3

divides, 2

subtractions

CV = EV - AC

SV = EV - PV

CPI = EV / AC

SPI = EV / PV

EAC = BAC / CPI

ETC = EAC - AC

VAC = BAC - EAC

that CPI is divisor of

EAC so find CPI skip

a line and place it at

the end of EAC

formula.

really match to

anything, you just

have to know where

they go.

worked great

for me and I

have had

others tell me it

worked for

them as well.

Other Formulas to Know

• Communication Channels: N(N-1)/2

• Pert Mean: (Pessimistic + 4*Most Likely +

Optimistic) / 6

• Standard Deviation: (Pessimistic – Optimistic) / 6

• Variance: ((Pessimistic – Optimistic) / 6) squared

• Present Value or PV: Future Value / (1+ rate of

return) to the power of n. Where n = periods of

time.
