GSP MIDIA - PHASE 1 + PHASE 2 PROJECT
PHASE 1
Midia Port production facility covering an area of 17,000 sqm.
contains:
• Workshops
• Fully secured complex
• Large modern office building with new IT installations
• Social facilities according to international health and safety
regulations
• Modern canteen and storage facilities
Midia Base will be a unique industrial facility in
Romania, integrating all required services to run our
offshore drilling activity
This facilities will also be available for Third Parties
to jointly provide:
• Well intervention services in the Black Sea
• Construction of modules for the petrochemical
industry in Eastern Europe and the Middle East
PHASE II
• The actual area of the Midia Base is going to be extended to 317,000 sqm in
the second development stage. This will increase the area capabilities for pipe
coating, large storage area and to increase our capabilities in manufacturing
offshore construction as production jackets, topsides, floating production units,
barges
• Through this new investment GSP can be a serious canditate to the large gas
pipe transport projects in the region
• The extension will result in open access to the sea with two quay sections of
280 m and 300 m length. Water depth is 8 meters
• The site lies in the close vicinity of the Danube - Black Sea Channel
