DEMETHANISER VESSEL TRANSPORATION

1. Report Summary

This report summarizes the intact, damage and dynamic stability calculations of the Demethaniser vessel on to the barge AJ30 as per the layout drawing attached in Section 2. The barge is modelled in Moses software and stability calculations are done. The tow stability calculation are attached in Section 3.0 The recommended tow ballast plan is attached in Section 4.0. This report also covers the seafastening design and the barge deck loading in Section 5.0. The Bollard pull calculation is attached in Section 6.

Conclusion:-

Ø For the above loading condition all stability parameters are met according to relevant codes including damage and wind.

Ø The angle of heel and trim are well within the allowable limits and

stability criteria is met.

Recommendation for stool supports

Ø At all location double stools to be provided to have the bearing to 3 metres mat giving adequate bearing to longitudinal bulkheads.

Ø All mat to stool, mat to barge deck and stool to saddle to be welded minimum although there is no uplift coming on any of these supports.
