MY HEART IS IN SCOTLAND

I SAW THE FILM ABOUT SCOTLAND LAST YEAR AND FELL IN LOVE. I LOVE THIS LAND FOR ITS HILLS, ITS GLENS, ITS

WILD PLACES, BIG RIVERS, MYSTERIOUS WATERFALLS, CHANGING SKIES... AND ITS ANIMALS AND PEOPLE!

Scotland lies to the north of England with the North Sea to it's east and the Atlantic to its west. It’s is roughly 300 miles north to south and anywhere up to 200 miles east to west.

What do you picture in your mind when you hear the word «Scotland»?

St Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland - a task he shares with Greece, Russia and Romania!

The Capital of Scotland-Edinburgh

is enriched with culture, fine architecture and hosts of one of the most prestigious universities in the United Kingdom, The University of Edinburgh.

Scottish people are famously friendly

A dish consisting of the heart, lungs, and liver of a sheep, calf, etc. (or sometimes of the tripe and chitterlings), minced with suet and oatmeal, seasoned with salt, pepper, onions, etc., and boiled like a large sausage.

HaggisMeal in Scotland is

simple and tasty. Traditional soup -with different vegetables , - well warms after cool day. The well-known Scottish salmon is really fine - fresh, natural, with easy sauce and a garnish from vegetables, it is remembered for a long time . Puddings with fresh berries and cream are also tasty.

Scotland has given rise to many famous people

Sir Alexander Graham Bell (March 3, 1847 – August 2, 1922) was an eminent scientist, inventor, engineer and innovator who is credited with inventing the first practical telephone.

Sir Alexander Fleming (6 August 1881 – 11 March 1955) was a Scottish biologist and pharmacologist.

Sir David Livingstone (19 March 1813–1 May 1873) was a Scottish explorer.Perhaps one of the most popular national heroes of the late 19th century in Victorian Britain

Sir Walter Scott

My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here, My heart's in the Highlands a-chasing

the deer - A-chasing the wild deer, and following the roe; My heart's in the

Highlands, wherever I go.

Farewell to the Highlands, farewell to the North

The birth place of Valour, the country of Worth;

Wherever I wander, wherever I rove, The hills of the Highlands for ever I love.

Farewell to the mountains high cover'd with snow;

Farewell to the straths and green valleys below;

Farewell to the forrests and wild-hanging woods;

Farwell to the torrents and loud-pouring floods.

My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here,

My heart's in the Highlands a-chasing the deer

Chasing the wild deer, and following the roe;

My heart's in the Highlands, whereever I go.

I am sure that my dream comes true and one day I and my parents will visitScotland and

I am preparing for atrip to
