Zoo Project

Part I
• A good look at a prehensile tail.
Part II
• Orangutans grooming
Part III
• The male Red Uakari very upset I was playing with his woman. Showing his teeth and grunting at me.
Part III
• Here the female Red Uakari was taught to “pet nice.”
Part III
• She was very disappointed that I had no critters crawling on me and looked at me with a confused expression.
Part III
• She’s lip smacking at me, we are friends now.
Part IV
• Observation of human primates from a captive primate’s perspective. They were both curious and jealous.
Part V
• It was difficult to get quality pictures because the primates were very, and especially visibly excited by the presence of a large male. As such they would not hold still for a photo. Also, they do not appreciate being smiled at or stared at, especially with me in their habitat, so the zoo keeper was cautious of me taking too many pictures.
