This is one question I hear a lot, even though it comes in various forms:
• Since adult stem cells lose their potential over time, am I too old to take Stemtech prod-ucts?
• I am only 30 and I am in good health. Why would I take Stemtech products?
• Adult stem cells are very active in young children. Would Stemtech products have any benefits for them?
On a plane recently, I was reading a health-related scientific article, just one more in the growing series of pub-lished items in prestig-ious journals that draw a link between health and the number of circulating stem cells. These arti-cles show evidence that health problems slowly develop when there are not enough adult stem
cells present to partici-pate in the process of normal tissue renewal or when adult stem cells are simply unable to do their job properly.
This observation is relevant to the three questions from column 1 that we want to answer, because we tend to think of health as the absence of disease. This means that when we are in our 20s or 30s — in appar-ent good health — we think that there is nothing to do until problems slow-ly begin to surface. We forget that from the day we are born, our organs and tissues are constant-ly renewing themselves. Science is slowly discov-ering now that a reduc-tion in our ability to carry on this day-to-day pro-cess of tissue renewal may be one of the most important causes of health decline that takes place little by little, day after day. For the most
part, health problems slowly develop over many years — often over dec-ades — before they begin to affect our quality of life significantly. The trouble is that it is much more difficult to regain health after having lost it than to simply maintain it. Even though I am a Burmese Mountain Dog, I live in an Arizona valley on a farm with Mama Sue and Papa Stu Thomas. Life as a puppy on the farm was good until when I was about half-grown. That’s when my right front elbow started killing me. There was a hard, round thing — like our friendly
neighbor’s golf balls — that seemed attached to my bone. No amount of licking, gnawing or rolling around made the golf ball go away, and I also start-ed feeling pretty poorly in general.
Mama Sue took me to the White Coat Man, who said words I didn’t under-stand — like “fever,”
“amputation” and “fatal” — but just the look on Mama Sue’s face told me that the news was not good. Since then, I’ve fig-ured out that I had come down with a prob-lem lots of people and animals here in the Valley get, and the outlook isn’t bright for anyone.
Luckily for me, Mama and Papa are Distributors for Stemtech, so they started giving me this tasty treat called Stem-Pets twice a day, along with the yucky medicine from the W.C. Man. As the weeks went by, that “golf ball” seemed to shrink until it was GONE. The W.C. Man couldn’t believe it. There wasn’t a trace of that horrible prob-lem anywhere in my bones!
I guess I’m one of the only “recovery stories” he has to tell when pets come in with problems like mine. That means there is hope for us “Valley Girls,” after all. I think StemPets should be part of the diet of every pet in America!

person to broach a question or
make a comment. A “Top
Liner” Go-Getter – especially --
will not give you the time to go
through all the details that you
love to share about the prod-
ucts; in fact, your monologue
will turn them off, as you “over-
sell” the products or opportuni-
ty and people walk away. This
is particularly unfortunate, as
“Top Liner” Go-Getters often
turn out to be your best Busi-
ness Builders!
The bottom line: Be sensi-
tive to the 3 Kinds of People.
Simply use the products in
front of people, and when
asked what you are doing,
reply with the Product One-
Liners [See May 2012 edition
of HealthLink], pique their
interest, and let them ask
questions. From this brief
interaction, you can very quick-
ly judge the Kind of person in
front of you. Then adapt what
you say to each prospect’s
personality type, and get ready
to add more Distributors to
will order more, with little “hand
-holding” necessary, and they
will build a business the same
way.
With the “Top Line” Go-
Getters, simply share the prod-
uct, hand a brochure and/or a
card (with your contact details
on it, of course) – and be ready
with a Distributor Application
for the “Top Line” Go-Getter
who is ready to sign up.
“A Little More” Asses-
sors are the largest group of
people you will meet when
prospecting. They are the type
who do want to look through
the brochure, who may ask you
about the research, how the
product works and maybe a bit
of the Comp Plan basics.
Keep in mind, however, that
what they seek is a brief de-
scription. Example: “SE2TM
assists in the natural release of
stem cells, so it assists your
body in its natural process of
daily renewal.” Or “With Der-
mastemTM, there is a 25% re-
duction in fine lines and coarse
wrinkles in less than 28 days.
And we have scientific proof!”
For people interested in the
business, you may note that
Stemtech Business Builders
can receive a paycheck every
week, and that they can earn
bonuses on their organizations
to infinite levels deep.
Then refer these prospects
to Stemtech’s website, where
they can find product and op-
portunity details. Hand them
a brochure and/or card with
your email address and web-
site address on it, and ask for a
contact number or email, so
you can call them in a few days

“Deep and Detail” Ana-
lyzers are the smallest group
of people you will meet, but
they can often demand the
most of your time and energy.
They want to hear everything
before making a decision: the
nitty-gritty on the products,
including the ingredients and
details of the studies. They
want to know all the “ins and
outs” of the Comp Plan. They
want to point and click their
way through our whole website
before they are ready to hear
what you have to tell them.
To handle these prospects
most kindly and efficiently,
hand them brochures, ask for
their contact information (email
or phone) and point them to
your website. Let them know
that you are available to an-
swer questions and that we
have a team at the office dedi-
cated to assisting and answer-
ing questions, too. As they
most often will want time to
digest what they read in the
brochures and on the website,
set a day that you will call them
back (1 or 2 days later).

People you will meet when
prospecting. In general, peo-
ple seek varying levels of infor-
mation from you so they un-
derstand, believe, buy into,
embrace and then -- ultimately
-- use the products and share
them and the business oppor-
tunity. To engage people
when prospecting, you need to
assess each Kind of person
you meet quickly. So let’s look
at the 3 Kinds of People:

“Deep & Detail” Analyzers
In the fast-paced world
where we now live, “Top Line”
Go-Getters make up a good
percentage of working people.
They are the ones who are
rushing about, always busy,
with no time to hear a lot of
details from you. They simply
want to know two things:
Do the products really work?
Is the business opportunity solid?
They will decide quickly if they
want to try the products and
will purchase right away, then
move on… to the next item on
their “To-Do” list. If the busi-
