How do you measure the impact an event or an individual has on your life?
The United Real Estate Convention, which was just held in Dallas, posed
those questions to all attendees. Our theme of “CaptURE Success” through
a lens provided the context and content to be an inflection point for
attendees to positively move forward in both business and personal life.
The combination of developing the right mindset and the right business
skills were joined together at this event to equip our agents and brokers to
reach the next level of success. To have a true impact, it has to have
lasting change. United Real Estate was created to help agents and brokers
Find Their Freedom in real estate by turning them into entrepreneurs, who
are equipped with the support they need to build a lasting business and
achieve success - as they define it.
As the month of April begins, we enter the spring listing season and also recognize April as
Autism Awareness Month. Autism Speaks is the charity of choice for United Real Estate, and
we are very appreciative of everyone who came out and supported us at the annual charity golf
tournament that was held prior to the start of our convention. The impact we had on an
individual family was witnessed when a family of a six year old boy who has autism took the
time to stop by and thank us for our assistance. It is stories like that which confirm that we can
have a meaningful impact on an individual’s life.
I am reminded what the author John Maxwell wrote:
“It’s hard to feel bad about yourself when you’re doing something good for someone else.”
Being positive and contributing to the communities we live in is part of our culture at United
Real Estate. We thank you all for being a part of an organization committed to having lasting
positive change within all of the communities we serve. To learn more about Autism Speaks
you can visit their website at www.autismspeaks.org.
To learn more about how the United Real Estate designed programs and agent training can help
you capture success quickly during the busy selling season, visit our intranet site at

United Real Estate is proud to announce
Autism Speaks as it’s charity of choice.
During the 2015 United Real Estate
Convention, United Real Estate hosted a
charity golf tournament and raised $5000 in

Hosting an open house is just part of the job for real estate agents looking to sell their client’s home.
However, while these events expose a home to potential buyers, they can also expose agents to
potentially dangerous situations. There have been 47 deaths in the real estate industry since 2013,
according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This number doesn’t include assaults or robberies.
But there are ways to help minimize the risk.
Here are some tips to keep you safe.
Have the homeowner put away their valuables. This includes often -forgotten items such as passports
and extra keys.
Walk behind the visitors and direct them to different parts of the house rather than leading them.
If possible, have another person working with you. If this is not an option, notify neighbors that you will
be showing the house and ask them to keep a lookout for any strange activity.
Have visitors sign in with their name, address, and phone number. As an extra precaution, jot down a
description of each visitor and their vehicle.
Avoid rooms with no escape route such as attics and walk -in closets. Direct visitors to those rooms and
wait for them in an open area.
Check your phone signal strength at the property before the showing. Also make sure your battery is
fully charged.
Be careful where you park. Don’t park where you can be blocked in or near trees or shrubs that
someone could hide behind.
Establish your escape routes. Walk around the house and take note of gates and other exits you could
take in an emergency.

As a successful real estate agent it is helpful to know where to send a client to make sure they are taken
care of. Your client is a great fit for our services if:
They have been turned down for financing.
Our credit repair program can help improve your clients credit scores in as little as 30 days, and
remember "You don't pay until it goes away!"
They have 1 or 2 collections that need to be paid before closing.
Credit Law Center has over 100 relationships with collection agencies that will remove an account if it is
paid in full. This will help your client clear underwriting as well as potentially improve their credit scores.
They have outstanding judgments or charge offs to be paid.
Our staff of attorneys can do a 1 time lump sum settlement for clients to get the derogatory debts
remedied and help them get approved for Financing.
They are being sued.
Debt defense helps your clients avoid future judgments and attorneys that bully consumers.
They are looking for a "lease to own"
Most of the prospects that call on your sign looking for a lease to own are struggling with bad credit.
Turn these tire kickers into clients and life-long fans by helping them accomplish their goals instead of
telling them no just like everyone else.
Remember that all reviews and consultations are free for your clients. If you are interested in our United
agent partnership contact Keith Knapp at [email protected] or 816-875-3595!
