A)?
Private Pilot License - PPL(A) training description:
• Private Pilot License training is designed for
applicants without any previous flight experience
who want to obtain the PPL(A).
• The PPL(A) course consists of both theoretical
and practical training
• Theoretical preparation and practical training are
done concurrently - we offer the perfect
combination of both without wasting your time.
• The course is concluded by a theoretical
examination and a practical examination.
• During the training you will also need to pass the
ICAO English proficiency exam and
radiotelephony (RT) exam.
• You can start the PPL(A) course anytime you are
ready. All the lessons will be planned individually
for you to suit your time requirements.
• The Private Pilot license can be obtained in a
minimum period of 6 weeks.
• The duration of PPL(A) training will depend on
the each trainee's time availability for both the
theoretical and the practical training.
• Use of electronic study materials
• The study materials are provided via our state-of-
the-art Learning Management System (LMS).

Step 1: Complete the Theoretical Training
Theoret ica l p reparat ion lays the foundat ion fo r p ract ica l f l ight t ra in ing . Accord ing to the EASA sy l labus , the th eo ret ica l p rep arat io n co n s is ts o f 10 0 h o u rs , o u t o f wh ich a t l east 35 h o u rs w i l l b e w i th an in st ru cto r in a c lassro o m. The g round t ra in ing is d iv ided in to two modules – p reparat ion fo r the PPL(A) exams and theoret ica l p reparat ion fo r f l ight t ra in ing . The course cons is ts o f in te ract ive lessons wi th max imum usage o f modern s tudy mater ia ls and equ ipment . You wi l l be ab le to use our educat iona l sof tware and h igh -qua l i ty v ideo mater ia ls .
Preparation for exam covers the fol lowing subjects:
• Air Law
• Aircraft General Knowledge
• Fl ight Performance and Planning
• Human Performance and Limitations
• Meteorology
• Navigation
• Operational Procedures
• Principles of Fl ight
• Communications
Theoretical preparation for f l ight training covers:
• Manoeuvres
• Weight and Balance
• Fl ight Planning and Monitoring
• Communication
• Aerodrome and traffic pattern operations, measures and procedures to prevent coll isions.
02Step 2: Pass the Theoretical Examination
At the end of the course, you wil l have to demonstrate
a sufficient level of theoretical knowledge, which wil l
be tested on a set of 9 written tests from the
theoretical subjects. To pass the PPL(A) theoretical
examination you need to achieve a score of at least
75% from each subject (Meteorology, Navigation,
Communications, Aircraft General Knowledge,
Principles of Fl ight, Air Law, Fl ight Performance and
Planning, Human Performance and Limitations,
Operational Procedures).
The PPL(A) theoretical examination is conducted at the
premises of Civi l Aviation Authority of the Czech
Republic.
