What is the ATPL(A) Theory?

CourseRequirements

To Be at Least 17 Years O ld

To Be a PPL(A) Holder

You need to be a t l east PPL(A) (Pr ivate P i lo t L icense) ho lder.

To Be Profic ient in the Engl ish Language

You need to be profic ient in the Eng l ish language (ATO Eva luat ion)

To Have Suffic ient Knowledge of Math and Phys ics

You must be ab le to make some bas ic menta l ca lcu la t ion and have

a min imum of knowledge in Mathemat ics and Phys ics , no degree

i s needed but an eva luat ion w i l l be done by the Academy.

• For the ATPL theor y, there a re 14 exams you

have to pass to p rove a suffic ient l eve l o f

kn o wled g e ap p ro p r ia te to th e p r iv i l eg es o f th e

ho lder o f an ATPL (A) in accordance wi th the

E A SA Par t FC L req u i remen ts .

• The t ra in ing fo r a l l 14 sub jects have to be

co mp leted w i th in 18 mo n th s f ro m th e en ro lmen t

date in o rder to get the complete cer t ificate

f rom the schoo l (a t tendance fo r the ATPL(A)
