Table of Contents and Index
• These two items are key to helping you find
information in a book or eBook.
• A Table of Contents is an organized list of content
contained in the book. The chapter titles indicate
what type of information can be found in the book
and gives the page number where it can be found.
• An Index is an alphabetical arrangement of subjects
in the book or eBook. It also gives page numbers for
the location of the content.
Each chapter title is a link. Click
on the title to navigate through
the content of the eBook.

• Several vendors supply our library with
eBooks. Each interface may look a bit different
but each eBook will have many of the same

the option of printing portions of the text.
