Thursday, March 19th, 2015 at 9:30 – 10:50 am
John A. Logan College Conference Center
F118 & 119 THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
The groundwork for reconciliation is truth-‐telling. Whose story gets told? Whose is left out? These questions shape a community’s narrative and influence systems and relationships. Whether in post-‐genocide Rwanda, in Ferguson, MO, or in Southern Illinois, acknowledging the truth of multiple perspectives is essential where divisions persist. Join us as Fr. Kamana shares his story and invites participants into dialogue.
Co-‐Sponsors: John A. Logan College, Carbondale Racial Justice Coalition, Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Carbondale Human Relations Commission, and Carbondale Interfaith Council, Catholic Newman Center, SIU Carbondale, the Ralph Anderson Interfaith Dialogues.
