Street Selection
Streets were selected from the impacted list of the
associated subdivision. The selection was based on
the present serviceability rating (PCR) and
projected future traffic. A typical value of six tripsper day per lot was used for estimating the future
traffic.
Most of the streets selected were very marginal in
structural serviceability and were deteriorating at arapid rate. The treatment selected would not be
considered as an ultimate up-grade but would be a
significant improvement over the existing condition.
