SKETCH OF AIR TIGHTNESS LAYER PARAPET
1. Stone cladding(granite) parapet capping. 500mmwidth of capping it is fixed to parapet strut. Stonecladding(granite) large pannels 2400x1200(mm).Artificial joints made in pannels to look like block work.to hold cap in place2. Halfen® body anchor(type-DT) holes drilled in stoneand stone sits on bracket which is fixed back tosecondary structure. There is grout applied where eachpin holds a stone pannel. Stone restraints to hold stonevertically.2.(a) Halfen® sofit anchor used where 2 horizontalstones cannot be fixed to a vertical pannel
3. Kingspan® Premium performance rigid phenolicinsulation(150mm) - thermal conductivity 0.021-0.024W/mK. Negligible smoke obscuration. Class O / low riskfire rating. Suitable for use in rainscreen claddingsystems. Clear cavity is maintained – resists moisturepenetration. Unaffected by air movement.
4. Self adhesive Rubberclad® EPDM- widerolls(1500mm) of this and can be lapped at importantjunctions. This is very tough, puncture resistant andcan withstand abuse. Easy to install no special toolsneeded.
5. Cement board Knauf®- (1200x3000. 12.5mm thick).6.Gyproc® plasterboard(20mm thick) on 50x50mmvertical battons.

7. American Black walnut internal finish- 20mm thickwall finish and flooring(acoustic mat below flooring).
7(a) Steel deck with concrete fill.8. Steel column 203 x 203 (mm) base plate welded to top
and bottom of each.
8.(a) Steel struts 100x100mm welded to main structure
8(b) Steel 'I' beams 254x102mm
9. 'C' channels(250x100) are fixed to columns at 1000
c/c which is used to hold on cement board.
10. 50mm waven pipe (insulated 50mm) releasing storm
water from roof through full bora outlets.
2.(b) Halfen corner reveal bracket can be used to hold2 vertical stones or can be turned on vertically andused to hold a vertical and a horizonal stone pannel.holes drilled in stone to allow pins to fit then glued inplace.
3(a)Paralon® high performance roofing felt
Torch-on felt membrane, softens more easily & unwinds
better into difficult & awkward places enabling faster
torch welding, thermofusible sheet ,melts quicker to
ensure perfect joint. There is also a textured finish that
provides an additional layer of fibres adding to good
mechanical performance and ageing resistance.

10(a)Visqueen Vapour Barrier® is used to omit the risk
of interstitial condensation within a structure as well as
improving the general airtightness of the building.
Visqueen Vapour Barrier restricts the passage of warm,
moist air from within the building from permeating into
the structure or the roof. It is commonly used within
timber frame housing as well as commercial buildings.
Visqueen Vapour Barrier is manufactured using virgin
polyethylene.
-Range suitable for all internal building conditions
-Used within roof, wall and floor constructions-Reduces
the likelihood of interstitial condensation
-Manufactured in the UK
-Vapour resistance of 530 MNs/g
-Supplied in single wound sheeting which reduces the
risk of cracks in screed
