News Internationalchairman James Murdochmade the announcementollowing a turbulent week in which it emerged the tabloidpaid private investigators
to hack into the phone o murdered schoolgirl MillyDowler.
Mr Murdoch said thisSunday’s edition o the Newso the World would have nocommercial advertisementsand all the revenue rom sales would go to good causes.
Police say there could beas many as 4,000 victims o phone hacking by the paper.

who died in a hail o IRA bulletsin Londonderry in 1981 sayspolice have reused to make a
public appeal or inormation oracilitate his oer o a reward.
The PSNI Historical EnquiriesTeam (HET) also stands accused
o reusing to interview thesel-conessed IRA commanderor the area about the murder
– deputy frst minister MartinMcGuinness.
Mother-o-one Joanne Mathers was gunned down, aged 29, as
she collected census orms in the Waterside in April 1981.
In March her husband Lowry
Mathers made a heartelt plea orthe case to be re-opened.
But now he is accusing theHET o reusing to make a public
appeal or inormation on his wie’s murder.
