News International chairman James Murdoch made the announcement ollowing a turbulent week in  which it emerged the tabloid paid private investigators to hack into the phone o murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler. Mr Murdoch said this Sunday’s edition o the News o the World would have no commercial advertisements and all the revenue rom sales  would go to good causes. Police say there could be as many as 4,000 victims o phone hacking by the paper. See page 6 News of the World axed  Victim’s husband slams PSNI team THE husband o a census worker  who died in a hail o IRA bullets in Londonderry in 1981 says police have reused to make a public appeal or inormation or acilitate his oer o a reward. The PSNI Historical Enquiries Team (HET) also stands accused o reusing to interview the sel-conessed IRA commander or the area about the murder – deputy frst minister Martin McGuinness. Mother-o-one Joanne Mathers  was gunned down, aged 29, as she collected census orms in the  Waterside in April 1981. In March her husband Lowry Mathers made a heartelt plea or the case to be re-opened. But now he is accusing the HET o reusing to make a public appeal or inormation on his  wie’s murder.
