• Two formats to conduct the lessons:
Web-Based Exercises• ESRI ArcGIS Server
– Data stored in a File Geodatabase
– 3 Services (mxd’s) to allow the layering and functionality wanted
– ESRI Online Background Map & Imagery
Web-Based Exercises
• ESRI ArcGIS Server Caching– All raster data was cached– Significant improvement in response time– 15 Scale Levels for each layer– Millions of PNG images created– Approx. 4 Gb of disk space for each layer
