• Activate child’s interest in Tamil – show her that you
believe learning Tamil is both enjoyable and useful in
our daily life.
• Use Tamil other than English in your child’s daily
activities.
• Use ICT and Interactive games to motivate your
child to learn Tamil.
• Watch quality television programmes in Tamil together.
• Encourage your child to read more Tamil story
books. Discuss the story and new vocabulary learnt.
