1. Excavate a trough alongthe channel run

2. Insert a timber packermin. 6mm longer andwider than the overallsize of the trough

3. Fill in excess excavationwith mortar

4. Remove the packingtimber

5. Clean out excess mortarand ensure none has falleninto the outlets. Lay out allthe component to ensure all parts are present

6. Insert the spigot outletpieces into the dischargepipes. Mark channels andoutlet locations

10. Snap the cut channelinto place. Repeat steps 7-10for the remaining sections.

7. Measure the length ofchannel required and markthe measurement on thechannel with a square.

8. Cut along the marked linewith a metal cutting blade.A drop saw is recommendedfor square cuts

9. Grind off any sharpedges from the cutting

11. Check that the channelis straight and level

12. Remove the channel partsand flip upside down

15. Lower the channel intoposition making sure itstays straight

13. Glue on endcapsand joiners usingsilicon or Sikka flex.

14. Run a bead of siliconor Sikka flex along the runwhere the channel is to be permanently fixed.

16. Place heavy objects onchannel until the adhesive has fully cured.

17. Seal the edge of thechannel with a flexiblewaterproof sealant

18. Insert the grates startingfrom one end. Measure thesize of the last grate andcut it to size using a metalcutting blade.

19. Wiped down the gratesto finish the job.
