Insert a timber packer min. 6mm longer and wider than the overall size of the trough 3. Fill in excess excavation with mortar 4. Remove the packing timber 5. Clean out excess mortar and ensure none has fallen into the outlets. Lay out all the component to ensure all parts are present 6. Insert the spigot outlet pieces into the discharge pipes. Mark channels and outlet locations 10. Snap the cut channel into place. Repeat steps 7-10 for the remaining sections. 7. Measure the length of channel required and mark the measurement on the channel with a square. 8. Cut along the marked line with a metal cutting blade. A drop saw is recommended for square cuts 9. Grind off any sharp edges from the cutting 11. Check that the channel is straight and level 12. Remove the channel parts and flip upside down Page 1 of 2

15. Lower the channel intoposition making sure itstays straight

13. Glue on endcapsand joiners usingsilicon or Sikka flex.

14. Run a bead of siliconor Sikka flex along the runwhere the channel is to be permanently fixed.

16. Place heavy objects onchannel until the adhesive has fully cured.

17. Seal the edge of thechannel with a flexiblewaterproof sealant

18. Insert the grates startingfrom one end. Measure thesize of the last grate andcut it to size using a metalcutting blade.

19. Wiped down the gratesto finish the job.
