Isaiah 55 Mission
Isaiah 55 Deaf Ministries
•is a grace-based mission that evangelizes the communities of Mexico
•through the education of the deaf – an unreached and often neglected people group.
•A vital part of this mission is ministering to volunteer work teams as they join us in fulfilling the Great Commission.
•Ministry goes far beyond the walls of the classroom, reaching the students’ families as well. Through Mexican Sign Language classes, the parents and siblings will finally be enabled to communicate with their loved ones.

What were my impressions of this short-term mission trip?
Lots of families from 5 PCA Churches from all around the country –young children and all ages up grandparent-aged adults
Orderliness and provision given to all that came – wholesome food and drink, comfortable sleeping arrangement, Praise and preaching service at the end of each day, all necessary tools / supplies to do the jobs were readily available to optimize effectiveness in the one week we were there
What we did in the physical was making way for the spiritual and what we did in the physical was only possible by what had been already been done in the spirit through prayer, ect.
We are making way for the first of many neighborhood schools for the deaf in the Reynosa area – we helped pioneer the work. First school class began last September 4th, 2006
All activities were preceded with prayer (the prayer circle) and at the sites we had prayer-chair time (every ½ hour someone was praying from our own groups for safety, ect)
“Come, every one that is thirsty, come to the waters; he that has no money, come, buy, and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price" Isaiah 55:1
