• Distinguish between Magnetic materials and Magnets.

• A magnet is a material or object that produces a magnetic field and is able to attract or repel.

• All magnetic materials are affected by magnetism, but they do not repel like magnets.

• Sample of magnet / non-magnetic materials in sets of 8-10.
