I am Colonel Blood, world-famous explorer. Allow me to tell you about

my encounter with mosquitos on my latest adventure.

We had been travelling all day when we came to a great lake. As dusk

fell, we pitched camp on its shores. We soon noticed that the pack ponies

were becoming restless – and, as I approached them, I realised they were

covered in swarms of insects.
