Tense facial expressions
The body language indicates there is something shocking or unbelievable.
The shadows along the edges and corners can signify the unknown.
Extension 2: now do the same for a film poster from another genre
Facial expression is very serious which can signify the importance of defeating the villain
The weapon in his hand represents the violence that occurs in action films.
The red dot in the center of his sunglasses signifies blood which then links to gun in his hand that indicates violence
