Lesson 25

A. Everyone loves to have someone to love. Tychicus was more than a brother, more than an associate; He was beloved to the Apostle.

B. Not just a brother but beloved. I imagine that Paul thought of every brother and as beloved but in this case he says so.

I. BROTHER BELOVED

A. Tychicus was faithful in the ministry he performed.

B. Not every minister of the Lord is faithful. Some start out but somewhere along the line change the course they promised to take. 

II. FAITHFUL MINISTER

A. Not merely a servant in the Lord but a fellowservant. •His interest •His doctrine •His focus is the same as Paul.

III. FELLOWSERVANT IN THE LORD

B. This more substance than just both were servants of the Lord. •Some serve the Lord but they serve Him independently. •Others serve the Lord together with us. These are a special bunch of servants.
