MARKET STALL
The STEM project of creating a sustainable market stall was a huge success! The children had put in many hours preparing, caring, creating and sourcing ideas and products over the past weeks. AND all that effort paid off on Saturday’s Market by the Lake! The stall looked fantastic and many customers praised the children for their and the school’s efforts. The products were many and varied and the children were friendly and helpful. Well done everyone, I was very proud of you and our school community.A special thanks to Fleur and Andrew Muller, and Mr D who not only helped us with transporting items but supported us on the day. Also thanks to parents who dropped off and picked up their children throughout the day, and to the students who couldn’t make it on the day, but had been part of the process in “creating” the stall. Many items were dropped at school and to the stall and we thank everyone for their donations.By Mrs D
SPECIAL VISITORS ON TUESDAY
YEAR 6 GRADUATION KINDERGARTEN TRANSITIONOn Monday night the Year 6 girls attended the small schools’ year 6 dinner. They looked very grown up and they had a great time.
After a sit down roast dinner they cut the cake and made some speeches, this was followed by dancing.
This week we had two transition sessions, Tuesday was a full day and Wednesday a shorter day. The students had a wonderful time and produced many work samples giving Mrs D a good understanding of where they are up to with their learning.
We are looking forward to welcoming Jasmine, Liam, Caleb, Kaden, Riley and Jasinta.
Year 5 were lucky to have three students come and visit them. Maggie, Izabelle and Charlie came for the day and got to meet the students. Our students really enjoyed the extra students and played many great games. We look forward to welcoming them to our school next year.

LEARNING WITH MS STURMAN
We have been busy reading for a purpose, reading instructions for activities, reading to solve a quiz or reading to know what to do next, or reading our play parts and to learn songs. Reading is everywhere and we love the results. We have read instructions to make some Christmas items for our Christmas Tree.
LEARNING WITH MRS DE FRANCESCHI
This week was also the final transition days for our new Kindies. The group really enjoyed interacting with the older children and taking part in our classroom activities.

This week has been a bit more relaxed for the Smarty Pants. Assessments are done! Woo Students have just been finishing off our last writing assignments and their corresponding artworks.
