and sponsored dinner for one of the orphanages.
10-07-18 – The inaugural function of the English literary Association of the Department of
English (A) was held in the college conference hall on 10-07.18 at 10.30am. Invited as a guest
of honour and offered felicitations.
02.08.18 – Dr. Diwakar Thomas, Dr. S.P. Sasirekha, Prof, Cavya, Prof, Ramaprabha and Prof,
Nandu Gopu accompanied 44 UG and PG students to the Hindu Press between 2.30pm and
4.30pm.
18.08.18 – Invited as Chief Guest and delivered a special address on the Importance of English
Language in the ondeday state level workshop held in Kongu College of Arts and Science,
Karur. It was organised by the Department of English.
07.09.18 – served as chief guest in connection with the inaugural function of the Department of
English of Sree Narayane Guru College, Coimbatore. Delivered a special lecture on ‘Why we
Study Literature’ to the Literature students.
14.09.18 and 15.09.18 – Attended ‘Ooty Literary Festival -2018”14th and 15th September 2018
along with Prof. Athisayaraj, Prof. C. Sakthivel and Prof. Nandhu Gopu in Ooty which was
organised by The Nilgiri Library. Writers like Shata Gokhale, Paro Anand, Ranjit Hoskote,
Mrs, Janaki Sabesh, Dr. Srividy sivakumar and Dr. V. Srinivas Shared their views on Poetry,
Fiction and Children’s Literature.
18.12.18 – Prepared the questions and acted as Quiz Master in the Quiz Competition held in
connection with the College Day Celebration.
