ALL WELDS SHALL BE EXAMINED WY AN AWE QC-1 CER11F1ED WELD INSPECTOR.HYDROSTATIC LEAK PRESSURE TEST DILUTION WATER PIPING TO 375 PSIG (-O/+10 PSIG), AND ALLOTHER PIPING TO 600 PSIG (-0/+1O PSIG). IN-PROCESS EXAMINATION OF PROCESS HOSE UPPERCHEM JOINT IS ALLOWED. ACCEPTANCE CRIIERLA IS NO LEAKS.

7. WELD AND INSPECT STRUCTURAL WELDS PER AWS D1.1 FOR STATICALLY LOADED STRUCTURES. EXCEPTWHERE SPECIFICALLY NOTED TO WELD TO ASME B31.3. VT WELDS ON FiNAL PASS. WELDING PROCEDURESAND QUALIF1CA11ONS PER ASME SECTION IX ARE ACCEPTABLE. ALL WELDS SHALL BE EXAMINED WY AN AWSQC-1 CER11F1ED WELD INSPECTOR.

8. THE ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH 2014 NFPA-70 NEC.

PAINTING & LABEL REQUIREMENTS:

A) PREPARE AND PANT TOP FLANGE. WINCH MOUNT. AND MISCELLANEOUS BRACKETRY WITH A SINGLECOAT OF INDUSTRLAL GRADE STEEL PRIMER. APPLY TWO FiNISH COATS OF PPG WATERBORNE ACRYUCENAMEL OR APPROVED ALTERNATIVE. FiNISH COLOR SHALL BE GRAY. APPLY PANT PERMANUFACTURER'S SPECIFiCATIONS. POWDER COAT IS AN ACCEPTABLE COATING SYSTEM.

B) LABEL PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH ITEM NAME. DRAWING NUMBER, SERIAL NUMBER, AND ACTUAL WEIGHTUSING 1/2" TO 3/4" HIGH CHARACTERS. COLOR SHALL BE BLACK ON YELLOW BACKGROUND.IDENI1FICA110N INFORMATION SHOULD BE READABLE FROM ABOVE IF POSSIBLE. DECALS OR PAINT AREACCEPTABLE.

C) PUMP ASSEMBLY (ITEM 1) SHALL BE WEIGHED WY M&TE. THIS WEIGHT (IN LBS) SHALL BE INDICATEDPER NOTE 9B.

10. FOR INSPECTION, TESTING AND SHIPPING OF THE PUMP ASSEMBLY. SEE SPECIFiCATION RPP-SPEC-62O12.

11. DESIGN PRESSURE OF THE PUMP ASSEMBLY IS 400 PSIG 0 1 80'F.

FLEXIBLE HOSE ASSEMBLY SHALL BE PROCURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH HOSE SPEC RPP-14859, CURRENT REVISION.

13. SEE RPP-CALC-83O15 FOR SUPERHATANT PUMP ASSEMBLY OPERATIONAL STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS. ANDRPP-CALC-63344 FOR UFI1NG ANALYSIS.

18. DISCHARGE PIPING (PRESSURE BOUNDARY) WHEN INSTALLED IS A CLASS I. DMSION I • GROUP B. HYDROGENHAZARDOUS LOCATIONS PER HNF-SD-WM-HC-017.

FOR ATEX EQUIVALENT SAFETY TECHNICAL EVALUATION FOR PIPING, PUREE CONNECTORS, AND THREADEDCONNECTIONS INCLUDING CHEM JOINTS, SEE RPP-TE-58251.

THE LOWER HYDRAULIC HOSES (ITEMS 57. 59. AND 60) SHALL HAVE FEMALE JIC SWIVEL ON BOTH ENDS. THE UPPERHYDRAUUC HOSES (ITEMS 53, 54, AND 55) SHALL HAVE 90 DEG ELBOW FEMALE JIC SWIVEL ON ONE END AND MALENET ON 11-IE OTHER END. END F1NGS SHALL MATCH HOSE SIZE. HOSES SHALL BE ASSEMBLED WITH QUICKDISCONNECTS (ITEMS 136, 137, OR 138 ACCORDING TO HOSE SIZE). ALL FIITINGS SHALL BE STEEL USEMANUFAC11JRER'S RECOMMENDED FITI1NGS. LENGTH OF HOSE SHALL BE MEASURED FROM THE FACE OF THE NUT ONTHE END F1TI1NG. PERFORM HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE TEST ON ASSEMBLED HOSES USING QUAKER QUINTOLUBRIC888-46 HYDRAUUC FLUID. TEST PRESSURE SHALL BE 6000 PSI (-0, +200 PSI), HOLD FOR A MINIMUM OF 30SECONDS AND A MAXIMUM OF 80 SECONDS. IN-PROCESS EXAMINATiON OF UPPER HYDRAUUC HOSE QUICKDISCONNECT FITTINGS IS ALLOWED. ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA IS NO LEAKS.

18. PUMP ASSEMBLY SHALL BE FULLY RETRACTED. I.E. IN THE UP POSITION. WHEN LIFTED FROM HORIZONTAL TOVERTICAL PRIOR TO AND FOLLOWING MOUNTING OF THE PUMP ONTO THE PUMP ASSEMBLY. PERFORM PERIODICPUMP ROTATION PER MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS. RECORD AND SUBMIT MAJNTENANCE RECORDS.

TORQUE 3/4" PUMP MOUNTING BOLTS TO 63 FT-LBS. USE 3/4" CS HARDENED FLAT WASHERS AS REQUIRED UNDERTHE BOLT HEADS TO PREVENT BOLTS FROM BOTTOMING 01ff AGAJNST THE PLUGS INSTALLED IN THE TAPPED HOLES.MAINTAIN A MINIMUM OF 1" THREAD ENGAGEMENT ON ALL PUMP MOUNTING BOLTS. CLEAN AND DRY THREADS.APPLY RED LOCT1TE AT FINAL INSTALLATION.

FABRICATE AND INSTALL HYDRAUUC JUMPER HOSE ASSEMBLY WHILE PUMP ASSEMBLY IS IN STORAGE TOALLOW FOR PERIODIC PUMP ROTATION.

INSULATION DENSITY OF 8PCF, GRAY SIUCONE JACKETED INSULATiON. INSTALLPER MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS. HEAT TRACE LABELS (RAYCHEM #ETL) SHALL BE INSTALLED ONOUTER INSULATION PER NEC 427.13. ROUTE SPEED SENSOR CABLE WITH HYDRAULIC HOSES. TO THEEXTENT POSSIBLE INSTALL SHRINK TUBE OR SHRINK WRAP (ITEM 142) WHERE POSSIBLE ANDAPPROXIMATELY TO END OF HOSES.
