BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT BTL
• Business Times Limited is the first private media company which was established in 1987. BTL owns a radio station 100.5 Times Fm, a weekly Financial & Economic newspaper, Business Times, a daily Kiswahili Majira and bi-weekly sports and entertainment newspaper SPOTIstarehe
• BTL operates in 17 regions all over the country in which 7 regions are lead by women.

• Employment practices: Recruitment is strictly not gender biased and offers equal opportunity to both female and male candidates
• Work place practices: female employees are frequently encouraged to take managerial positions. As a result, there are several female managers including HRO, Circulation Manager, Subscription Manager, as well as 7 regional offices are managed by female employees
