PLEASE SIGN UP We are doing very poorly on our coffee hours this year. Why
don’t we try to have a group sign up for a Sunday? Maybe the Youth, the vestry, the men’s group, etc . It doesn’t have to be fancy and if several people bring 1 item each, easy, breezy! Who wants to go first????? FREE YOGA CLASSES Free yoga classes led by Linda Ratliff con-tinue on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm in the parish hall. There is no class on the fourth Tuesday because of the Men’s night out. Wear comfort-able clothes and bring a yoga mat. You can get one at Wal-Mart. We will reset up after our class for any group following us. Come join us!
MEN’S NIGHT OUT: Our next men’s dinner is scheduled for 6:00 pm, June 26th, 2012. By that time the grill
will be hot and ready to cook. Bring your own steak, chicken, or fish and your favorite refreshment. We will provide the salad, a few snacks, paper prod-ucts, cups, etc. Each of us is asked to contribute a few bucks to the kitty to cover expenses.
SUNDAY SCHOOL & YOUTH GROUP Our last Sunday class
will be May 27th and
the last Wednesday class for
Youth Group will be May 30th.
We will resume in September.
NA MEETINGS The Wednesday night meeting will now begin at

HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE MARCH 2013
The St. Luke’s Holy Land pil-grimage is scheduled to de-part for the Holy Land during the first week of March 2013. The pilgrimage is being put together for St. Luke’s using Fresh Ministries, an Episcopal
affiliated group out of Jacksonville. The group will fly out of Jacksonville during the first week of March and return there 11 days later. All airfare, lodging, two meals a day, transfers, guide fees, and interpreter fees are included in the cost of the trip, which will be about $3,000. Each pilgrim will be on their own for one meal each day. There are currently 20 people who have ex-pressed an interest in going, of which a couple may not be able to go. We would like to limit the trip to approximately 24 or 25. So we may still be
able to take another 4 or 5 pilgrims. If you are interested please let Father George know as soon as you can. Father George has a sample itinerary if you are interested and you may feel free to ask any trip related questions of him. He can be reached at the church (386) 364-1837 or cell (386) 249-2431. GODLY GAZETTE NOW AVAILABLE VIA EMAIL AND ONLINE If you would like to receive your gazette by email, please notify the church office and we will remove your name from the “snail mail” list and add it to the email list. Thanks for your help in helping manage our budget. Don’t forget to visit our website. Most, if not all, of the newsletter is posted online.

ST LUKE’S TEAM TO VISIT SISTER CHURCH:
In July a team of four will represent St. Luke's with a visit to our sister church in Cuba. Fielés A Jesus has new rector, Mtr. Tulia Sanchez. She is looking for-
ward to our visit and will be letting us know the things we could send that would be of help to them. As soon as I have this list, I will be letting you know. The four who are going are Tony and Tammy Wil-liams, Laine Fletcher and Phyllis Doty.
ESL CLASSES are on hiatus until the Fall.
THANK YOU! A great big THANK YOU goes to the men’s group for their wonderful food service to the students of the ESL class. They prepared a grilled dinner for everyone, about 60 people altogether, for the closing ceremonies of the class. Everyone ate well and were very grateful to St. Luke’s for our wonderful, generous members who made these classes, not just possible, but really great! I appreci-ate all of you too.

The monthly gatherings of the St Luke’s men were meant to be light, friendly and free from any heavy agenda. The evenings were meant to have a simple format; there would be prayer, a treasurers report, news from members and a discussion about what we might do with our money because each mem-ber was asked to toss in a few bucks to the kitty.
After three full years of meeting each month it can be reported that the men are still on track with their original format. On the 4thTuesday of each month at 6pm, we experience friendly smiles, light conversation, gentle kidding and an all around pleasant atmosphere around the BBQ grill. The BBQ grill, shared with other groups at church was our first purchase. Then we sponsored a team to com-pete in the Holy Smoke BBQ Throw Down at Camp Weed. They won a ribbon and another one this year! The men have cooked for shrove Tuesday, Deacon Phyllis’ class, Grace Mission in Tallahassee and for our own youth. Recently the men spon-sored a hole in the name of St Luke’s for the Camp Weed Open Golf Tourney and contributed gifts to
our graduating seniors. There were contributions made to help with Thanksgiving baskets in the past and more.
There is something very special about these dinners each month. Sharing the same fire and the same table is an ancient gesture of trust, hospitality and openness. Much can be accomplished in such an environment and as you can see much has been done. What are our plans for the future? To keep our original format of simplicity and to help where we can. Wait, there is one more goal…to remember who is bringing the salad next time?!
