2016/17 has presented numerous challenges for us all.
• European Markets – Exchange Rates, BREXIT, ‘Zika in Florida’ scaremongering by the Media.• LATAM – Overall decline in business particularly Brazil, which is a key Source Market for us.• Destination / Competition Pricing – Cruises and All inclusive resort destinations taking market share,
as they offer great value to the consumer. Other domestic destinations taking a more aggressive , pro‐active approach on offers.
• Hotel – OTA Relationship – Hotels offering deeper discounts in need times to OTA’s, this then hinders the B2B channel.
• Hotels Being Group Reliant – Layer your business.

On the brighter side we are seeing indicators of growth as we move into our new fiscal year, however as partners we need to take a proactive approach!Actions to consider:• Source market specific contracts / promotions – Strategically target specific source markets by their booking and
travel patterns with attractive offers.• Long Stay Discount – Our goal is to get the average length of stay to 3+ nights, work with us in long stay discounts• Early booking Discounts – Q1 is the busiest booking window for the Europeans, particularly UK, however they often
travel during your need times.• Non Refundable Discounts – These are extremely effective.• Waived / Reduced Resort Fees – Based on long stays.• Value Adds – Have Less Impact – 75% of clients book through XML, so don’t even see these offers, …..it’s all about
