Game  Designer

A  game  designer  has  many  responsibilities  with  a  game  they  are  making.    The  Process:  The  “textbook”  approach  is  to  start  with  a  concept  and  create  a  game  design  document  which  is  intended  to  show  the  entire  game  design  mapped  out  to  give  direction  to  the  development  team.  Designers  usually  adapt  to  multiple  roles.      When  discussing  a  new  project  they  may  be  expected  to  create  a  pitch  of  ideas  for  the  game.  If  the  pitch  is  approved  the  designer  may  be  expected  to  give  a  more  detailed  design  document.  As  the  production  progresses  more  input  is  expected.    Near  the  end  of  production  the  designer  must  make  sure  every  part  of  the  game  is  of  a  high  standard.    The  following  are  what  a  game  designer  is  responsible  for:    World design
