FITTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR RYCO CABIN AIR FILTER RCA188PNISSAN DUALIS J10. ALSO FITS NISSAN X-TRAIL T31

The cabin air filter is located behind the lowertrim as indicated in image 1. Pull the trim outslowly starting from the end close to the firewall.

The housing is now visible close tothe firewall at the end of theHVAC system. From this point ona small flat srew driver and a 8mmspanner or socket will be required.

Identify the pipe shown on image 3 and gentlypull out to disconnect just the bottomsection so it can be moved around to accessthe bolts securing the servo motor.

Unplug theconnector of the servo motor shown in image 2.

Mo ards thefront of the vehicle so thetwo bolts shown areaccessible. Remove andgently pull the servomotor out.

Unclip the filter housingclip starting where instructedin image 5 and slide down.The filter will be visble atthis point. With a small flathead screw driver or hook,reach for the filter and pullout. It will have to besqueezed in the middle tocome out easily. Clean thearea from any accumulateddebris.

Fit the new filter by squeezing it as shown in image 7. Insert firstthe top corner of the filter and carefully push inside to avoid damageto the filter. When inserting the filter make sure it is in the rightair flow direction. Please refer to the side of the filter for reference.Refit all components in reverse order.
